Jean M. Pellerin

I have been a professional artist since 1991, with over 70 juried and many more non-juried exhibits and solo shows on my resume. I am known for landscapes and architectural art, but I have also done a great deal of fantasy art. I am always experimenting and working to discover more ways to express my vision. I love to work in pen and ink, acrylic, and watercolor, but i use whatever I need to get the results I want. I love to experiment with new media.

I also have a strong graphics background, with 20 years of work in the Graphic Arts Trade as a process (pre-press) offset stripper. Although I no longer work in printing, I was the third generation of my family to work in it, and I still love printing as an art form.

In addition, I also worked for 22 years in a local art store, selling art supplies and helping people use them, as well as framing art.

On the side I am a "maker" and craftsman, focused on recycling. Handicrafts and reusing things has long been a family trait that has become second nature to me.

And I love old things, so I am a "smalls" antique dealer, highlighting books and jewelry, and odd and unusual things. I have booths in both an antique store and a handicrafts store.
