House Portraits
I love doing portraits of homes and buildings, as well as other subjects. I think the difference between a picture and a portrait is when you add special details, or that there is something about it that evokes a memory or feeling- something good!!

Acrylic is the watercolor price x2, Oil is x3. No mats are included with these.

All work is done on quality material. Pen & ink, pencil and watercolor are presented in an acid-free mat and backing as a courtesy.
Work is usually done from client’s photographs. If the photos that the client wants to use are not his or her own, permission from the photographer must be supplied. If the client has problems taking pictures, and the subject is not too far from Upton,Ma, I might take them and the client can choose from these, but please be aware that this may add time as it must be worked into my own schedule.
Rights:
Artist retains rights to reproduction- however, client may reproduce it for personal use. Reproduction for personal gain or commercial use must be negotiated with artist.
Artist retains rights to display image for advertising purposes.
Payment:
A non-refundable deposit of 50% must be paid to start work. Remainder of the fee is to be paid upon receipt of work unless other arrangements are made. Changes will result in charges (including new materials as needed) added to the bill. Failure to pay the final bill within 30 days if extension is agreed upon will result in interest charges added.
Payments may be made by cash , check, money order or charge.
Bounced checks will result in an added $20 fee.
Please note- I must also charge Massachusetts 6.25% sales tax by law.
Delivery:
Unless otherwise arranged, client will be responsible for pick-up at the specified time. Failure to pick up within 60 days (unless otherwise arranged) will result in forfeiture of both artwork and deposit.
Any shipping costs (including insurance) will be paid by client.
Please note that it takes about two weeks to complete a pencil, pen & ink, or watercolor, about four for an acrylic, and six months for an oil, although I make every effort to work faster. Client is called when work is completed, unless other arrangements are requested.
Prices are good through 2022
